Mei Leng Yew

Mei Leng is a self-shooting producer-director who joined Studio Ramsay in April 2024 on the Step Up scheme. Over the past decade, she has enjoyed a varied career as a documentary filmmaker in the film and television industry, working for major broadcasters including the BBC, Sky and Channel 4.

In 2022, Mei Leng was one of Adobe’s representatives for their LoveTheJourney campaign, celebrating diverse voices in the creative arts. She is also a trustee for the MAMA Youth Project, a charity that transforms the lives of underrepresented young people by training and supporting them into fulfilling careers in the film and television industry.

In her spare time, she enjoys baking, solving cryptic crosswords and has a 2nd Dan black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
