Deborah Sargeant

Deborah joined Studio Ramsay in 2023 as Executive Producer and Showrunner for the FOX series Gordon Ramsay's Food Stars. She now sits across the current SRG slate, spinning all the Production plates from kitchen rig series to premium documentaries to birthing new formats; Deborah oversees all the talented Executive Producers and their hugely creative Production Teams who do the Studio so proud.

In a career hurtling towards 30 years in non-scripted television, Deborah first worked with Gordon as Showrunner of Channel 4 Features hybrid “The F Word” earning the series a BAFTA nomination for Best Factual Entertainment.

Previously Chief Creative Officer of Second Star, Deborah was the Creator and Executive Producer of award-winning British dating format Flirty Dancing, which sold around the world, including a local version for FOX. As a buyer at Sky UK, she oversaw non-scripted formats with scale such as the now long-running competition, Sky Arts’ Portrait Artist of The Year. In her former life as a freelancer, she not only ran ground-breaking reality formats such as Big Brother but also the International Emmy Award-winning How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? with Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber for BBC One.
